Hello to all Phase 3/4 Parents/Guardians– we hope you have had a lovely summer holiday and are back into the school routine. This year’s class teachers are Mrs Brennan, Miss Palfreeman, Mrs Pollington and Miss Greaves and our Learning Support Assistants are Miss Smickersgill, Miss Holdsworth, Miss Burnham, Mrs McCreesh, Mrs Greenwood, Mrs Worthington and Mrs Sidhu.
Since returning to school, we have been extremely impressed by the way the children have settled into Years 3 and 4. They are already showing a growing independence and great attitudes to learning. This year promises to be full of both fun and challenging learning experiences. We have already been time travelling to the Stone Age and enjoyed a visit from a caveman. He told us all about his life and taught us to hunt. We are looking forward to some shelter building next. Year 4 have enjoyed learning about Black History Week and treated the rest of the school to an Assembly, which included some awesome singing. Year 3 will have their turn next year when they celebrate Water week and perform their Assembly for the rest of the school.
Please remember to attend the Phase 3 and 4 Parents Evening in November to celebrate pupils’ achievements with us. If you ever have any concerns before then please do not hesitate to contact us.
